9. Alexa Bliss Didn't Feel Ready For Her SmackDown Promotion

Alexa Bliss has remarked several times during interviews that she and Nia Jax are great friends away from the ring and regularly travel together. Much of that kinship is due to the parallels both women have experienced in their careers thus far. Both were promoted from NXT and both were arguably given too much too soon.

Bliss thinks she wasn't ready to be moved up from NXT to the SmackDown roster. During an interview with ESPN, the current Raw Women's Champ said she didn't feel equipped next to others before her like Charlotte, Becky Lynch or Sasha Banks. That's some refreshing honesty from a woman who could easily be !*$% of the walk right now.

Specifically, Alexa noted that she hadn't even worked a match on any of the TakeOver shows or held any titles during her time in NXT. She felt all of those things would come first before WWE even thought about moving her to the main roster, so Bliss was as shocked as anyone to learn she'd be promoted during the 2016 WWE Draft.
