One of the most simple catchphrases in wrestling history is also one of the most iconic. For Goldberg, "Who's Next?" meant most in WCW when he was in the middle of an unmatched 173-0 winning streak, but the line had humble beginnings. In fact, Goldberg didn't even come up with it.

That story is included here, along with others about Jerry Lawler, Scott Steiner and Mordecai. On the subject of catchphrases, find out where James Storm's "Sorry About Your Damn Luck" slogan came from; just like with Goldberg's phrase, it seems women have a habit of coming up with great wrestling lines.

You won't believe where Goldberg plucked his from, or who said it to him first. Even more bizarrely, the former WCW and WWE Champion was meeting with agents for the revived Love Boat TV show when he struck gold.

10. Kevin Owens Told Mike & Maria Kanellis Not To Re-Sign With TNA

Maria Mike Kanellis

Mike Bennett may have taken his wife's surname upon signing a WWE contract, but things were very nearly different for the SmackDown newcomer and his bride. Close to re-signing with TNA, the happy couple received a phone call from one Kevin Owens, who was desperate to see the pair join WWE instead of staying put.

Mike told this story on the Edge and Christian Pod Of Awesomeness and revealed that he and Maria were torn on sticking with Impact or seeing if WWE had anything for them. Owens encouraged his friends to wait a week or so, and that paid dividends when Triple H got in touch with Bennett about bringing both he and Maria to WWE. Better yet, they'd be going straight to the main roster.

KO clearly had the scoop on WWE's interest, but he didn't outright tell the lovebirds about what was happening. All Owens recommended was that Mike and Maria hold off on signing TNA deals, because something special might be in the works.
