10. Drew McIntyre Worried WWE Fans Might Not Remember Him

Proving his worth outside of the company led to a WWE return for Drew Galloway. As soon as the Scot was shown on camera at NXT TakeOver: Orlando, he reverted to the McIntyre surname handed to him almost a decade prior. Despite a lengthy period in WWE previously, McIntyre was worried fans may have forgotten him.

In an interview with The Mirror, the former WCPW and ICW Heavyweight Champion said the day of TakeOver was a bit of a rush. Working for Evolve earlier that afternoon, Drew then hurried to NXT. Handed a suit at the back doors of the Amway Center by his wife, the new signing then took his seat at ringside.

Only then did McIntyre wonder if WWE's hardcore fan base would even remember who he was. That must have been a strange feeling after making such a splash outside the WWE bubble, but Drew admitted feeling fear over fan reaction.
