10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (March 20)

6. Paige Wants Storyline With Male WWE Roster

Since news broke that AJ Lee had embarrassed Stephanie McMahon over social media, WWE have made some pretty hollow attempts to show that they're behind the women on their roster. More time has been allotted - generally - to the Divas, but that's not saying much. Most of the coverage has come via the official WWE website, as the company look to placate some of the unrest amongst their female employees. Speaking during a recent interview, Paige fanned the flames of discontent once more, claiming that she wants to feature in a rivalry against one of three men on WWE television. Stating that she's not been quiet about her desires, the British-born Diva wants a feud with either Dean Ambrose or Bray Wyatt. Unbelievably, Paige also namechecked Steve Austin as another potential candidate, although that's very unlikely to happen - WWE can't even convince Austin to face one of their top male performers, nevermind him coming out of retirement for a feud with a relative newcomer. It's clear there's a little bit of tongue in cheek from Paige, but why not mix her up with the likes of Wyatt on TV?
