10 Wrestling Matches Where The Wrong Guy Went Over

9. Triple H Vs Sting

Sting's record in WWE, for those who need to be reminded, is two defeats from two matches.

And whilst you can understand the decision to have him eat a loss from Seth Rollins in their 2015 WWE Championship match at Night of Champions, it's a little harder to wrap your brains around his losing to Triple H at WrestleMania 31.

Sure, at 56, he wasn't exactly an up-and-comer waiting for his first big break (although he would have been unknown to a large part of the WWE audience).

But after being introduced as the man to bring down The Authority, it made little sense to have the WCW icon fall down at the first hurdle - especially when Triple H, if anyone, could have afforded to take the loss.
