10 Wrestling Stalker Angles

"Undertaker, MAKE ME FAMOUS".

Pro wrestling history has been home to some truly absurd storylines over the last 50 years but few bring out the loonies quite like a good stalker angle. Whether a stalker picks his or her prey according to some disconcerting desire to hunt, their love and affection for another or a strategic mind game in order to assume power, their games have played out on wrestling shows for the better part of the last 25 years. In fact, some of the greatest wrestlers to ever lace a pair of boots have proven mentally unstable while chasing their goals. There was The Undertaker, who craved power and control over all things WWE. Mickie James wanted to be closer to her idol Trish Stratus than any Superstar or Diva ever had been before. Kane wanted to use Lita to unleash his demon seed on the world of sports entertainment and Diamond Dallas Page apparently had an affection for ass kickings at the hands of the Phenom of World Wrestling Entertainment. And don't even get started on Barry Windham, who wanted...something. Maybe. The fact of the matter is that every once in a while, WWE Creative dips into its bag of go-to storylines and pulls out the psycho obsessed Superstar who will stop at nothing to get what they want, even if it means breaking the law, making their target incredibly uncomfortable and creating a sense of insecurity in the workplace, which is a lawsuit just waiting to happen. With it being only a matter of time until another Superstar or Diva cracks and begins stalking one of their co-workers, relive past instances of the crazed, psychotic, unstable and demented men and women who have made life a living hell for some of the most recognizable stars in industry history.
