Definitely not your prototypical female, Joanie Laurer (otherwise known as Chyna) surprised everyone by not just posing for Playboy but doing it twice. When she debuted with the WWF in 1997, no one in their right mind would ever think of Chyna as a Playboy cover girl. She was jacked beyond belief with a physique that made 99% of men jealous and had a less-than-feminine jawline. Next to beautiful women like Sunny and Terri Runnels, Chyna stuck out like a sore thumb. However, thanks to the wonders of plastic surgery and weight loss, Chyna shed most of her unattractive muscle mass and transformed herself into an entirely new person. Morphing into a lean but still muscular woman, Chyna became one of the most popular members of the WWF roster, male or female. She parlayed this fame into a very popular Playboy pictorial, appearing on the cover of their November 2000 issue. Believe it or not, Chyna actually looked extremely attractive in the magazine and posed for Playboy a second time in 2002. Chyna took her adult appearances even further by appearing in various pornography releases, including playing She-Hulk in a recent porn parody of The Avengers. Chyna has run into some personal problems in recent years but her progress from male-looking bodyguard to Playboy cover girl has to be respected.
