10 WWE Instances Where 'Payback' Was Deserved

What a topical subject to cover...

WWE Payback is just around the corner and a number of scores will be settled. Well, that's the whole premise of the show isn't it? What would be the point in Rusev recapturing the United States Championship and then having to go into yet another programme with John Cena? If Rusev wins then payback is his, if Cena wins then he has won the war. We've seen enough of most of the rivalries on the card, let us all move on. There have been plenty of instances where payback has been more than deserved over the years in WWE, while there has also been those moments when payback was more than deserved but one half of the divide got away before it could be sought after. It's the nature of the beast. Story lines intertwine and go back and forth. If someone upsets someone, then that someone will want revenge. Vince McMahon only has so many proverbial chess pieces to play with so when two superstars aren't getting along on television, don't be surprised to see them signing from the same hymn sheet in years to come. Then again, when the heel in any situation finally gets his comeuppance, and the baby face finally gets that moment of revenge, the payoff is more often than not spectacular. Here's 10 moments from WWE history that deserved some modicum of 'Payback'.
