10 WWE Matches Fans Couldn’t Give A Sh*t About After Watching A Classic

An oddly off-kilter WrestleMania clash for a company still desperately trying to prove itself equitable to all performers on the roster, the multi-Woman match for Alexa Bliss' SmackDown Live! Championship more closely resembled something from the dark days of the Divas division.

The situation was made infinitely worse thanks to what it had to follow. The Orlando crowd were nearly five hours deep into the show when Brock Lesnar and Goldberg took just 4:45 to build a roof on the Camping World Stadium then blow it off. An instant classic in spite and because of the punctuated run-time, it exposed zero weaknesses in the limited Goldberg whilst squeezing all the undiluted juice out of 'The Beast' as monsters collided for the richest prize in the industry.

The one-spot-and-out formula didn't even suit eventual winner Naomi despite her heroic hometown return left to linger as the only significant story in the bout.

WWE portrayed themselves as pioneers yet again with the advent of the Women's Royal Rumble in 2018, offering 30 superstars a chance at the title. In contrast 'The Show Of Shows' should hopefully this year be saved strictly for the elite few.
