Those who watched the taped recording of the show wouldn't have known that they messed it up, of course - it only became apparent later when pesky fans uploaded the unedited footage to YouTube, showing that the match's ending needed a re-take.

In the interest of protecting kayfabe (if that's still a thing anyway), it probably would have been better if the pair had improvised another finish after seeing their initial attempt fail, rather than repeating the exact same spot minutes later.
