10 WWE Moments That Made You Extremely Uncomfortable

3. Steve Austin Viciously Beats Up Michael Cole

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hD_8x1CMkfI No you're not reading the wrong list, this really is the WWE Moments That Made Us Extremely Uncomfortable and not Best Things To Ever Happen In The History Of The Business. The thought of Stone Cold stomping a mudhole in Michael Cole and walking him dry is one that, these days, would make many fans rejoice. Those tired of the new Voice of the WWE would relish seeing him take a few swift rights and lefts followed by a Stone Cold Stunner, but in 2001 it made for one of the most uncomfortable moments of the year (even more than that Kronik versus Kane/Undertaker clanger). The Texas redneck took offence to some comments that Cole had made on commentary regarding Austin's upcoming triple threat match with Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho at the King of the Ring. After verbally humbling him, Austin completely manhandled the diminutive announcer, before kicking the ever-loving s**t out of him and ripping the shirt right off his back. WWE were really trying to get Ausitn some genuine heel heat and beating up a defenceless announcer is a good way of doing that, but the manner in which it played out made for some seriously uncomfortable television.
