10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (Oct 8)

Undertaker retiring, NXT as ECW, replacing Cena, and much more!

The past week has been a mixture of the good and the bad for WWE. On the positive side, Live From Madison Square Garden and NXT Takeover Respect should have seen a slight boost for WWE Network subscriptions. The MSG show was Brock Lesnar's first match since August, and the NXT show was main evented by a rematch of what was arguably the best match of 2015. WWE expected those bookings to draw business for the Network. However, the bad news is that Raw ratings are still in the gutter. The 10/5 show did in the same region as the previous five weeks, with a 2.34 rating and 3.37 million viewers. The number was a little bit up from the 18-year non-holiday low of a 2.32 rating and 3.32 million viewers the previous week, but the rise wasn't to a significant degree. It deserved a bad rating, as it was another dismal show, with dull segments and forgettable matches. On the plus side, the MSG special had a fantastic wrestling match between John Cena and Seth Rollins. As for the NXT show, every match was to a good standard. The mixture of highs and lows in WWE right now has got every fan talking about the state of the industry, and the following are the pick of this week's questions about World Wrestling Entertainment.
