10 WWE Quick Fixes To Save Finn Bálor

9. Defeater Of Worlds

...because if there's one thing worse than having to feud with Bray Wyatt, it's having to lose to Bray Wyatt.

Though many will lethargically point to the 'mysterious' narrative between the pair making perfect sense for a ginormous summer angle, Bálor's programme with 'The Eater Of Worlds' arrived at the worst possible time for him.

Coming off the back of a middling 50/50 feud with Elias Samson (punctuated by a wicked shot from 'The Drifter's guitar that left him a bloody mess), Finn could have done without the weeks of garbled gobbledygook and misplaced misanthropy that comes from having to engage with Bray.

The script is usually one-note, and Wyatt's victim of choice almost always has the same job - stand idly in the ring whilst the weirdo spouts riddles at you. Be afraid a bit. Repeat.

The thing is, it's been a long time since Bray had 'the whole world in his hands', so each variant just becomes a promo battle with more syllables and less house light. That WWE persists with the same hymn sheet every single time isn't Wyatt's fault, but it routinely renders the opponent of choice redundant until he eventually dispatches the bearded backwoodsman.

The sooner Finn downs Bray, the better.
