10 WWE Stars Who Should Main Event Survivor Series

Choosing 5 men for Team Authority and 5 men for Team Cena.

The main event for WWE's Survivor Series is a traditional elimination ten man tag match that will see Team Authority take on Team Cena. While WWE hasn't specifically said it's a 5 on 5 elimination tag match, usually when they say "traditional" that means they are going with the 5 on 5 format. Since WWE Champion Brock Lesnar isn't going to be a part of the event, John Cena needs something to do. He's the #1 contender for Lesnar's title. This angle with The Authority puts Cena in a big match without putting him in a singles match. His focus remains on Brock Lesnar even though he's not scheduled for a show until Raw on December 8. It's definitely old school to main event a PPV with an elimination tag match. In the early days of Survivor Series over 25 years ago they always used to do that sort of thing. These days? We don't see those kinds of matches headlining PPVs, but with no sign of Lesnar they have to do something that is considered different. We know what the main event is, but we don't know who is going to be in the match at this point. It's tough to know exactly which way WWE is going with this although I'm going to leave out Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt since I think they're destined for a singles match. I'm also keeping Rusev out of there just because I think they want him doing his own thing for a little while longer. Triple H could wrestle, but I think he'll sit this one out. Roman Reigns isn't due back until December and Daniel Bryan will be later than that, so don't expect any major surprises. Here's a look at ten names that could be a part of the festivities in St. Louis on November 23. First up will be a look at the five guys that will be on Team Authority and then the five guys on Team Cena.
