10 WWE Stars Who Could Claim To Be Mr. Survivor Series

This year marks the 28th year that WWE is holding Survivor Series. It started back in 1987 as the second oldest WWE PPV. That was the same year that WrestleMania 3 brought WWE a lot of financial success, so they decided to launch another show. While its importance may not be the same in 2014 as it was back in 1987, there are still a lot of important things to remember about WWE's annual November pay-per-view event. As we look back on the previous 27 years of the event, the question up about who is Mr. Survivor Series? We know that WWE has billed Shawn Michaels as Mr. WrestleMania because of his great matches (not because of his win/loss record), but what about Survivor Series? In order to be "Mr. Survivor Series" the wrestler has to have a number of great matches at the event, a good record just because that kind of thing is reflective of that wrestler's push and also it helps to have competed in main event matches. That's why for each wrestler I'll list their record at Survivor Series as well as the number of times they were in the main event of the show, which means the last match. There are some big name wrestlers that fall short just because they really don't have a lot of great matches at the event and they have poor records too. For example, Triple H is 3-8-1, Edge is 2-5-1, Steve Austin is 2-3-1, Booker T is 1-5 and Chris Jericho is 3-5 to name a few. A guy like Big Show has a better record (7-7) than a couple of guys on this list, but it's not like people remember Big Show matches the way they do some of the others. It's tough to figure out who Mr. Survivor Series is, but as always we did our best. Here's a closer look at it.
