Recent signs are encouraging. Ish.

The tandem of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have exhibited some of their own personalities in recent months in an attempt to get their NNEEERRRRDS bit over. Perhaps they're simply doing it to amuse themselves because, with the exception of one win on the October 2 RAW, they've stared at the lights since August 7. Prior to that, the forgotten men last tasted victory in July. Even when they were RAW Tag Team champions, the epitome of a transitional reign, they lost four-on-two handicaps despite the numbers advantage.

Walking past Hot Topic, the site of Bullet Club merchandise, must trigger a sense of crushing, ironic disappointment. They signed with WWE, you'd have to imagine, for purely monetary reasons. The schedule of and scope for creativity within New Japan Pro Wrestling must have been more rewarding on an artistic level. Fast forward a year and a half, one of the worst RAW segments ever and a raft of nothing matches later, and their former peers are rolling in t-shirt yen.

Anderson and Gallows aren't dead in the water - a switch to SmackDown, you feel, might reverse their fortunes - but they're not nearly as high a priority as weakening New Japan was.
