10 WWE Stars Who Will Get Lost In The Shuffle Before WrestleMania 36

Not everyone will be lucky enough to get their 'WrestleMania Moment'.

It's that time of year again.

Nope, we're not talking about the inevitable arrival of that big fat dude dressed in red, wedging himself down your chimney. WrestleMania season is finally looming and that means one of two things is about to happen.

A select number of stars are about to be positioned into the headline spots for the showcase event, whilst the majority of the other talents will be left sat in the back and therefore relegated to the role of bit-part player for the biggest night on the wrestling calendar.

Obviously, not everyone can main event 'Mania every year - or we'd be forced to sit through yet another Greatest Royal Rumble snooze-fest - so a few talents were always going to be made to bite the WrestleMania bullet.

With that being said, some of the stars on this list definitely deserve a little bit of the spotlight at this year's show of shows.

Yet, as we creep closer towards the iconic event, it is becoming increasingly less likely that this collection of talent will find themselves with much to do on the big night - other than throwing their names in the Battle Royal hats.

10. Shorty G

Chad Gable (or Shorty G as we're now forced to call him) has had a bit of a peculiar year inside WWE.

He started 2019 as one half of the Raw Tag Team champions (with partner Bobby Roode) and had morphed his gear into that of traditional trunks, instead of the singlet he'd been donning up to this point.

The Revival would eventually relieve the two of their gold in February and Gable found himself involved in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35 - as he had done the two years preceding that event.

Gable would split from Roode in the Superstar Shake-Up and would appear on 205 Live for a while, wrestling a couple of decent matches on the Cruiserweight brand.

This eventually led to Gable being announced as a King of the Ring competitor and he routinely popped up on television being bullied for his height, but it looked as though an under-dog storyline was being mooted for the talented star. A series of enthralling matches with Baron Corbin followed, with the newly christened 'Shorty G' even making an appearance as part of Team Hogan at Crown Jewel and appearing as a member of SmackDown's Survivor Series team.

Despite what has been a fairly productive year for Gable, you can't imagine that WWE have a showcase match in mind for the former American Alpha member at 'Mania 36 and he'll probably have to settle for yet another spot in the mega-battle royal.
