9. The Bludgeon Brothers

The most cutting insults are short and reductive.

If you can neutralise a target with a single bullet, it isn't much of a target at all - and whomever labelled the outfits worn by Harper and Rowan as "Reverse Kane" cut them so deep it scarred. The look of the Bludgeon Brothers team is derivative, and derives from a massively uninspiring source. The association is fairly problematic; instantly, Kane's latter-day lameness seemed to transfer over to them.

It's difficult to determine what exactly a 'Bludgeon Brother' is, given the nonsense spouted in those woodland vignettes. "Severed spines," "moral decay" - they were, before they stopped talking, a strange cross between Right To Censor and the Wyatt Family dressed up in shelved Kane concept art. In the woods. Basically, Harper and Rowan two mutant-sized badasses who get off on destruction. There's no need to confuse what should be a simple gimmick further in outfits that look too professionally put-together. Moreover, the burgundy colour scheme suggests elegance - royalty - which is surely the opposite of ideal.

Earthy browns with which to reflect their primordial brutality should transmit the premise of the gimmick effectively.
