10 WWE Superstars Who Desperately Need A Character Change In 2015

These talented performers deserve a fresh coat of paint.

The WWE is clearly in the midst of a transitional period. As reliable stars like John Cena and Randy Orton continue to become stale, the creative team has used 2014 as an attempt to build new main event talent. The three former members of The Shield have all been given a huge platform since the stable fell apart in dramatic fashion earlier in the year and the members of the Wyatt Family are beginning to get their time in the spotlight. However, there are a handful of WWE performers who are currently stagnating in a sort of career purgatory. They have either become stale in their current character or have simply failed to find their niche within the crowded landscape of WWE programming. Television time is precious and some acts simply aren't exciting enough to justify their inclusion on Raw or Smackdown. For many of these acts, though, all is not lost. If WWE Creative is willing to simply tweak their characters a little, there are many acts bubbling under the main event scene who could become real assets to the roster. For some, it's as simple as just deploying a heel or face turn, whereas others will require a complete repackaging to hit the heights they deserve.
