When it comes to big WWE PPVs, the company loves to inundate you with facts, figures and statistics. They will throw them all at you at 100 miles per hour, with flashy graphics to illustrate the point.

The Royal Rumble is probably the best example, but they started tossing out random stats about the Elimination Chamber this year, trying to make the position at which a wrestler entered the chamber a factor.

It’s not quite that easy with WrestleMania. Even though it’s WWE’s oldest and biggest PPV, it doesn’t have a signature match that runs through its history. The Money in the Bank ladder matches were part of tradition for several years, and now the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is in its fifth year. But it’s tough to catalog those stats.

However, WrestleMania itself does have several interesting records and statistics that any fan should know. And it’s more than knowing who has won the most consecutive matches at 'Mania (Undertaker, 21) or who has main-evented the most WrestleManias (Hulk Hogan, 8).

Knowing that, let’s dive in and see the whos and whats behind WrestleMania.

10. Most Matches

We’ll start with an easy one, but we’ll expand it a little.

No one has had more matches at WrestleMania than the Undertaker, who was battled in 25 different events. That is a record that quite possibly will never be topped. First appearing in WWF in 1990, Taker has only missed two WrestleManias – X and 2000.

A couple of other wrestlers have racked up impressive runs themselves. Triple H isn’t far behind at 21 WrestleMania matches, while Kane has wrestled at 18 'Manias. Given Taker’s age and Triple H’s involvement with WWE, it’s possible The Game could overtake the Deadman down the line.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
