10 WWE Wrestlers We Haven't Seen Much Of Lately

Not all of the WWE roster has been appearing on weekly television as of late.

Between Raw and SmackDown Live, there are five hours of international television programming offered up by WWE each week. While five hours of weekly content would most likely fit in all of the characters from an animated show like The Simpsons, Family Guy or South Park - and probably do the same for virtually any series with an extended universe - Vince's company often struggles to find substantial storylines for its main roster talent. This can be especially puzzling when considering that those five hours a week do not include pay-per-view events, WWE Network original programming, the weekly NXT show, or YouTube exclusives.

Below are 10 WWE Superstars who have not been prominently featured by the company on its weekly television programming in recent months. As a few of these superstars spent the latter months of 2017 inactive due to injury, perhaps some of them are due to return to weekly television in the coming weeks or months; long-time WWE fans know to expect some surprises at the Royal Rumble and on the episode of Raw and SmackDown immediately following the Rumble.

10. R-Truth

R-Truth - a former WWE Hardcore champion, Tag Team champion and U.S. champion - is currently out of action following recent shoulder surgery. Prior to this, the WWE superstar had been feuding with former Golden Truth partner Goldust whose heel turn seems to have been forgotten about. At 45 years of age, R-Truth is one of the older active WWE Superstars, yet like his former tag team partner, he seems to be getting faster and in better shape as he gets older.

2011 brought a major program in which R-Truth teamed with The Miz against John Cena and The Rock, leading to wrestling against CM Punk for the WWE Championship. This same era led to the gold that was "Little Jimmy," - so let's not rule out the prospect of R-Truth having one last run near the top of the card.
