10 WWE Wrestlers Who Would Win A Real Fight

10. Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio may be suave and debonair but make no mistake about it; he can bring it with the best of them. Back in 2000, Alberto Del Rio was trained in MMA fighting. Using his original pro wrestling name of Dos Caras Jr, Del Rio competed in 14 matches and finished with a record of 9-5. Seven of those wins came via submission and two by knockout. Apparently the Mexican Aristocrat is not so aristocratic after all. The ironic part of Del Rio's MMA past is that he incorporates very little into current WWE repertoire. Apart from the cross armbreaker, the majority of fans would not even know that he has that submission aspect to his game. Despite any criticism leveled at him for the perceived staleness of his character, the fact is that Del Rio has a very disciplined, very confident approach to his move-set. When he's in a match, he is fully composed and very sure of himself. Much of that likely comes from his MMA training, which indeed requires a lot of focus. The fact is that Del Rio can more than take care of himself not only in a WWE ring, but in any environment. Imagine Alberto Del Rio in a pair of MMA fight gloves, grappling on the mat. It may seem like a stretch considering we have never seen that from him but it would surely be a very comfortable transition for him. Who knows, if his cocky, wealthy persona ever needs a change, then a fighter gimmick could be just what he needs. He could certainly make it look good.
