100 Worst Wrestling Moments Of 2015

The year fans decided they just couldn't take it anymore.

2015 was the year that fans decided they just couldn€™t take it anymore.

WWE and TNA€™s writing and character development has ranged from awful to godawful for a long time, but it has finally caught up with them. Over the course of 12 months, ratings shrunk to levels not seen since 20 years ago. Worst of all, there€™s no Stone Cold or NWO in sight to turn things around. But hey, there is a Mojo Rawley and Eva Marie out there!

Channels have been changed, and lives are moving on, but what specifically was so bad that it caused hundreds of thousands of hardcore to turn away in 2015? How about short men in bull costumes selling hamburgers, terrifyingly stupid ghost barns, bizarre arse kissing match stipulations, a hillbilly cult leader developing the power of lightening, over pushing talent, a plethora of bad gimmicks, management talking to wrestlers like children, an overabundance of horrible comedy, and god damn chicken fries. Really, though, that€™s just the start.

Relive the year that was with WhatCulture€™s first eBook - 100 Worst Wrestling Moments Of 2015: How Pro Wrestling Lost 25% Of Its Audience in 12 Months... priced just £2.99!

With a foreword by our popular video presenter/reporter Adam Blampied, you€™ll laugh, you€™ll cry, you€™ll throw things, and then probably cry some more.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
