This time last year, things weren’t looking too rosy for Breezango. The duo had just been drafted to SmackDown, where they were arguably the weakest pair in a fairly flimsy tag division, losing to the likes of the Hype Bros and Heath Slater & Rhyno on WWE Main Event tapings.

Fast forward to today though, and their story could hardly be more different. As one of the most over acts on the entire SmackDown roster, they’ve twice challenged for the tag titles, before sealing their rise to relevance this past Friday with the most prestigious honour of all—an appearance on Talk is Jericho.

Okay, maybe that’s giving Mr. Jericho slightly too much credit. But even so, it’s a telling sign as to how well the pair have managed to get themselves over, and just like their recent Fashion Files escapades, the show itself was a pretty entertaining one.

We heard stories from their early years, some light-hearted dirt-digging on the rest of the roster, as well as some tidbits from the host himself. From the slapstick to the serious, here are eleven things we learned from Breezango’s appearance on Talk is Jericho.

11. Ryback Has The Smelliest Gear

Keeping your gear clean whilst on the road can’t be a particularly easy ask—as Ryback may well attest to.

After Jericho posed the question of who in the WWE locker room has, or had, the smelliest gear, an apologetic Fandango had no qualms in pointing the finger at Ryback. He noted that it was specifically the big man’s gloves that hummed the most, before very diplomatically stating that “I love you, bro, but your hands are stinky.”

Other names that were thrown into the mix included Mark Henry and Erick Rowan, both of whom have been saddled with the kind of attires that don’t allow for a great deal of ventilation.

Fear not though, lads. Fandango made sure to share his own story of how to maintain good ring-gear hygiene whilst on the road. During a European tour, ‘Dango recalls using disinfectant to keep his tights fresh, which certainly helped make them smell better, though it’s a method that comes with the slight drawback of having your legs break out in rashes.

You win some you lose some, I guess.
