11 Things We Learned From Shawn Michaels On The Ross Report

The Heartbreak Kid opens up about his decision to walk away from WWE in 1998 and much more.

"The Heartbreak Kid" is back in the news once again with the release of his second autobiography "Wrestling for My Life: The Legend, the Reality, and the Faith of a WWE Superstar". For those who've been fans of Shawn Michaels for a significant amount of time, this book will provide insight into how he made the transition from living on a path of self-destruction to finding redemption through his own personal journey. The man who's widely considered the most gifted in-ring performer of all-time has had quite the roller coaster of a career, but thankfully was able to rebound and end it on the highest of notes. Shawn's first main event run in WWE was spent alienating his co-workers with his abrasive personality while still managing to steal the show night in and night out. Even his worst enemies have been adamant in their praise in his abilities. It's been a treat to see the way his life has turned around and to learn how the man who created so many great memories for his fans is now enjoying the retired life with his family. Michaels sat down with former WWE commentator Jim Ross on Wednesday's edition of The Ross Report podcast to talk about his book, memorable moments from his career and answer questions sent in by the fans. Read along to find out what he had to say.
