12 Current WWE Stars Who Could Be Legends Reborn

10. Kalisto - Rey Mysterio

The company has been quite transparent in their desire to replace the Mexican legend that departed the company just a few short months ago, as he was a huge merchandise mover, selling tons of masks at live events. That€™s a revenue stream they want to replace as well as to continue tapping into the Hispanic fan base and Kalisto looks to be the man for the job. The standout high flyer formerly known as Samuray del Sol recently debuted on Raw as one half of the Lucha Dragons along with partner Sin Cara, a failed attempt at the same thing they hope to accomplish with Kalisto. But where Sin Cara €“ both the Mistico and Hunico versions €“ never connected with the audience in any real way; his partner has already shown an ability to get over and really turn it on in the ring. It remains to be seen if he can sustain the momentum he€™s already enjoyed and become a name the WWE can count on, or if they€™ll keep him mired in the meaningless tag team division so long that it hampers his value.
