A first half of highs were followed by a second half of lows...

This past Sunday we had the 28th edition of the WWE Royal Rumble in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There were a few highlights, and some very noticeable low lights. For the second year in a row, it appears that the WWE has dropped the ball with making an entertaining Royal Rumble match, and has really gone against the wishes of the WWE Universe. It has led to quite the revolt on social media. The upcoming list will mention one of the most major things to occur on social media in quite some time in regards to the WWE. The highlight of the night was the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match; which was defended in a triple threat match with Brock Lensar, Seth Rollins, and John Cena. These guys came out of the gate on fire and never let up on the gas pedal for the whole 23 minute match. There were some amazing spots such as Rollins coming off the top rope and Lesnar catching him into an F5, Rollins coming off the top rope for an elbow drop through the table, Rollins pulling off some sort of a combination of a Red Arrow, Moonsault, and 450 Splash. After it was all said an done, Lesnar came out of the match as champion. This particular article will take a look at 12 key moments from just the Royal Rumble match itself. The match was full of it's typical surprise entrants and great moments, but the match was also marred with some unceremonious burials of some wrestlers, and an early exit of a key player. It all went downhill from there...
