12 Things You Need To Know About Sting's WWE Deal And Future

The WCW Icon is now a WWE Superstar. Here's what you need to know!

Sting is officially a WWE superstar. His long anticipated debut came at the climax of the main event of Survivor Series 2014. The nefarious Triple H was about to screw Team Cena in the battle against Team Authority, when Sting's music and titantron video played. The WCW Icon received a rapturous applause from the crowd in attendance. Everyone knew how important this was; the last soldier of the Monday Night Wars had crossed the battle lines. For thirteen years, Sting has held out on joining WWE. As a WCW mainstay he was a legend for never working with Vince McMahon. He's the biggest name in North American wrestling who never needed a McMahon to make him. Now we will finally see Sting working under the WWE banner, in a deal that has been made to honour Sting's legacy in the industry. We'll explore the details of this deal in the following feature, in addition to covering what you can expect in Sting's WWE future. But first let's go back to the debut moment. It was so special. Sting came to the ring and faced off with Triple H for three whole minutes. "This is awesome" chants filled the arena. Sting then hit Hunter with a Scorpion Death Drop and aided Dolph Ziggler in covering Seth Rollins. That resulted in a 1-2-3, meaning Team Authority had lost to Team Cena. Triple H's power reign is over. Sting is finally in WWE and he's brought justice with him. But this is just the start...
