12 WWE Stars Who Got Lost In The Mix

11. Hugh Morrus (2001-2002), Bill DeMott (2002-2003)

The wrestler known at times as the €œThe Laughing Man€, €œCrash the Terminator€ and €œThe Man of Question€, WCW veteran Bill DeMott joined the WWF in 2001 as part of the Alliance feud under his most famous name Hugh Morrus. Like so many other new face,s Morrus failed to stand out and instead spent much of August through November competing on Jakked and Sunday Night Heat against Albert & Scotty 2 Hotty, the Hardy Boyz and Billy Gunn. Six months later, in the WWE Draft, Hugh Morrus returned to WWE television as officially as part of the Smackdown brand and started competiting on Jakked and Velocity against wrestlers such as Lance Storm, Albert and Funaki. After a motorcycle accident in July, Morrus made the wise move to get involved with Tough Enough training. He returned in November 2002 to WWE TV under his €œtrainer€ name Bill DeMott mostly appearing on Velocity until he announced his in-ring retirement and became a color commentator on the show. Later, DeMott went on to train and book Deep South Wrestling until he was fired in January 2007. He returned to WWE in 2011 as a Tough Enough trainer and replaced Dr. Tom Prichard as the head trainer for FCW developmental territory (which evolved into today€™s NXT).
