Ups...

13. A Glimmer Of Hope

Corey Graves Byron Saxton Tom Phillips

A 2019 Draft hype segment saw SmackDown's announce team take us through various headlines relating to the event just before Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks. Afterwards, Tom Phillips asked Corey Graves what'd happen if they were separated, with his partner responding "I could only be so lucky."

This gives the impression that the rumoured commentary shake-ups are coming, which can only be a good thing. These units are staler than month-old bread. While major won't come without abandoning the overproduced announcing stale, fresh voices on Raw and SmackDown should at least help breathe life into the main roster brands following SD's big Fox move, particularly if it means a return to two-person booths.

We can but hope.
