Jason Knight was a Manhattan Center era Raw jobber who found his way to early period ECW. Paul Heyman, creative genius, decided that this guy wasn't just Jason Knight, a baby-fat curtain-jerker. Instead, he would become JASON, the sexiest man on Earth. To that end, Jason started wearing blazers a la Rick Martel, but he also gained a new hometown: Europe.

He also got himself a new theme song in Salt n' Pepa's "Whatta Man", because Paul Heyman was probably already being sued by six different people, so who cares? Even in his prime, Jason may have looked like a marginally more athletic Joe Pesci, but he still got a music video and an ECW TV Championship reign out of the deal.
