14. Gangrel - "Blood"

Gangrel's entrance theme was the best part of his act, and Dave the vampire likely knew it. But to be fair, itt was a right corker.

From the haunting whispers at the beginning to the jamming distorted guitars underpinning the whole piece, compulsive bloodletting has never sounded so good. Also, playing the track in reverse unearths a neat Easter egg: the words "I buried Paul." A reference to the famous 'Paul is dead' Beatles back-masking urban legend, or some tongue-in-cheek foreshadowing to Triple H's future role as chief gravedigger?

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
