16 Thing We Learned From Kevin Owens On Talk Is Jericho

Talk, Owens, Talk!

Kevin Owens has easily become the most currently talked about man in the entire world of professional wrestling. From the moment he appeared in NXT, he€™s taken that promotion by storm, immediately becoming their top star and winning the championship in only his second match. This was accomplished in large part by revisiting the Kevin Steen/El Generico feud that rocked the independent scene for years, positioning the newly-christened Kevin Owens against his real life and kayfabe close friend Sami Zayn in a heated feud the likes of which the main WWE shows rarely present. Hot off the heels of his success in NXT, he€™s now embroiled in a war with U.S. champion John Cena, leaving him laying on two separate occasions leading up to their much-anticipated face-off at this week€™s Elimination Chamber special event. For most fans of the indie scene, the thought of seeing Kevin Steen verbally dressing down John Cena on Raw before leaving him in a heap with a pop-up powerbomb seemed utterly out of the realm of possibility just a year ago, and now it€™s the hottest program in the entire business. The NXT champion sat down with fellow Canadian Chris Jericho and recanted tales of how he got started in the business, training at a flea market, the unique way he learned English that only true wrestling fans can appreciate and much more. It€™s a fun ride so read along and enjoy.
