16 Things We Learned From Paul Heyman On The Steve Austin Show

Was this just a vehicle to set up Austin vs. Brock for WrestleMania?

After controversial reports of bad blood between Vince McMahon and Steve Austin stemming from the content of questions he asked Triple H during their interview €“ reports that Stone Cold himself refuted €“ the dust seems to have settled and the Steve Austin Show is has returned to the WWE Network. Chris Jericho has been filling in and may still continue to host his show on the service as well, and while his sit-downs with John Cena and Stephanie McMahon were entertaining, they lacked the same snap that the Austin shows had, instead adopting a more jovial atmosphere. Neither show is going to ask their guest particularly hard-hitting questions €“ it would be foolish for WWE to allow their personnel to be grilled on their own Network €“ but Stone Cold brings a little more seriousness and objectivity to the table. The three main behind-the-scenes players have all made appearances as well as the top star of the last decade, so next up is Paul Heyman. It was admittedly a bit of a surprising choice because he€™s already made multiple appearances with both Austin and Jericho as well as having his own recent documentary €“ which is excellent, by the way €“ so we weren€™t sure if there would be a lot of uncovered ground available for the two to discuss. Heyman is unquestionably one of the greatest orators the business has ever seen but would he be able to hold our attention without rehashing many of the same stories and viewpoints we€™ve already heard numerous times before? Read along and find out.
