16 WTF Moments From WWE SmackDown (March 7)

Oh y'know, just some casual attempted homicide on SmackDown...

Last time we checked, WWE's programming was still pinned down by that 'sweet' PG certification. This means that foul language, nudity and certainly crazed attempts to kill fellow superstars should be frowned upon by those writing television.

Oops, somebody forgot to tell SmackDown's writers about that last part, because they fancied turning Baron Corbin into WWE's very own serial killer this week.

Why not, eh? After all, everyone complains about WWE storylines being drab and uninspired these days, so those crazy kids writing the shows shouldn't be blamed for trying to inject some excitement (even if it does come in the form of attempted murder).

That homicidal behaviour from Corbin wasn't the only thing that made us say 'WTF' on SmackDown, not by a long shot.

As always, those pesky announcers were up to their old tricks again and decided to partake in speaking even more nonsense than they normally do. Seriously, even the usually super-reliable Tom Phillips was at it, proving JBL's influence to be so overwhelming that no-one is safe.

Here are all your eyebrow-raising moments from the latest episode of the 'B show' AJ Styles saved...

The 'Cesaro Section' has no place on SmackDown Live, because it's all about that 'Tom Phillips Section'.

Sources tell us that these fan signs got Tommy boy so excited that the SmackDown announce desk was levitating a full five feet off the floor. Honestly, it's a wonder people can get anything done around that place with all those dinosaur bones Phillips keeps dropping.

He probably even leaned into JBL and asked 'doyouthinkthefansaurus?'. What a guy.
