4. Kevin Owens Invented Roman Reigns' New Catchphrase

You’ve all heard him use it a couple of times on every show where he’s had a mic in his hand since WrestleMania - “I’m not a good guy. I’m not a bad guy. I’m the guy.”

In case you haven’t, however, you can rely on JBL to hammer the point home on commentary - and no doubt we’ll be seeing a new line of Reigns merchandise that features the catchphrase soon too, because there’s nothing WWE love more than taking something good and flogging it to death (otherwise known as ‘suplex city syndrome’).

Well, WhatCulture’s very own Kenny McIntosh interviewed prizefighting heel and Twitter legend Kevin Owens shortly before WrestleMania 32 this year, and while discussing shades of grey in wrestling characterisation (and specifically, polarising fan reactions), Owens essentially says that line, almost word for word, and days before Reigns used it for the first time.

It’s too on the nose to be a coincidence.
