NXT kicked off 2020 not with a live show but with an episode dedicated to the best bits of 2019 and their annual awards show. And this show is so good that even the filler was entertaining.

Celebrating the best of wrestling's very best, the January 1st episode was the second of two taped weeks on USA Network before returning to Full Sail for their first live show of the year next year. It featured several of the company's key performers reflecting on their successes in a number of key categories in what proved to be the biggest year in the black-and-gold brand's rich history.

Fan-voted (and not worked, you'd like to hope), the awards reflect the brand's elite status extremely well, with all but one TakeOver being amongst the best in that series' legendary legacy and several individual performers having the most influential years of their careers.

The company didn't just go to the trouble of offering formal presentations in an empty NXT ring, but also knocked together some stunning photographs of all the deserving winners - and we've collected some of the best ones here.

And the winners are...
