The Milkman... why was The Milkman there?

What on earth could SmackDown Live do to compete with the absolute tirade of greatness that is happening on RAW in recent times?

Even though it looked like all hope was lost for the red brand following Finn Balor's devastating shoulder injury, which looks like keeping the Demon King out for six months or so; Triple H's shocking return, even more shocking turn on Seth Rollins and treble shocking (that worked in my head) assist to hand the Universal Championship to Kevin Owens 'done flip reversed' proceedings for Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon.

In repost, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan oversaw the return of The Head-Bangers. Yes, that average Attitude Era team that almost everybody of age has forgotten by now is returning to face Heath Slater and another nostalgia act in Rhyno in the SmackDown Tag Team Championship tournament.

Oh goodness me it looks like RAW could be streets ahead of SmackDown quicker than any of us could have predicted before the brand extension.

To compliment The Head-Bangers' return, a main event match between Dean Ambrose and Baron Corbin was announced which promised to be a bit of a head turner, while Daniel Bryan and The Miz's mini-rivalry, stemmed from that stellar promo on Talking Smack last week, looked set to develop further after taking the WWE Universe by surprise last time out.

Here are all the WTF Moments from WWE SmackDown Live...

15. Why Them?

Of all the tag teams WWE could have picked to make a return, why were The Head-Bangers chosen for the job of facing Heath Slater and Rhyno?

I've got nothing against Mosh and Thrasher other than the fact they haven't appeared on WWE television for 16-years, which means there's an entire generation that simply won't know who they are. What sort of a pop are WWE expecting them to get here?

Why not pick somebody who was around more recently who wouldn't have been damaged by a defeat to a couple of misfits drifting through the deep BLUE ocean on Tuesday nights?

Well, I suppose as long as it wasn't the New Age Outlaws it was probably a good decision from Shane and Daniel.

Still, it came from very left field, didn't it? WTF...
