22 Forgotten Moments In Kane's WWE Career

Think the mask first came off in 2003? Think again.

Kane is fully deserving of the word "legend" when it comes to WWE superstars. In terms of longevity, he's as good as it gets, with twenty years as a full time wrestler in WWE. There's been the odd injury and occasional time-out, but for the most part he's been right there, wowing WWE audiences. Most impressively of all, he's still really good in the ring. He's one of the most underrated talents on the roster, completely owning his character and working like a pro. He deserves to be called one of the best big men of all time, but it is as if his real life humbleness has held him back in terms of grandeur. It won't be until he retires, that the industry really appreciates just how special he was. In a career so long, there's been numerous forgotten moments, some of them that may come as a shock.

22. The Kane Character Started In 1990... With The Undertaker

Kane officially debuted in 1997, but the 'Kane character' was actually first created way back in 1990. Funnily enough, the guy set to portray 'Kane' was The Undertaker. Indeed, Mark Calaway debuted as Kane The Undertaker on a WWF superstars tapings. However, his formal debut came a few days later, at Survivor Series 1990. For whatever reason, the 'Kane' part was dropped, only for the name to be brought back seven years later with Glenn Jacobs.
