Happy New Year from the WWE!

This week's New Year's Eve edition of Smackdown marks the show's final airing on SyFy before it moves to the USA Network, but if you thought that the WWE would be going all out for it, on a fluffy seasonal episode of the B-show no less, you thought dead wrong. Smackdown naturally didn't do much to capitalise on the fallout of this past week's hysterical Raw episode, but it unexpectedly brought one angle to a close, and of course acted as a sound-board for King's verbal diarrhea, which is always an uneasy mix of hilarious and embarrassing. Booker T sounded like he was drunk on several occasions, the show was obviously edited in several sections, and a fan asked Dolph Ziggler the question we all want to know. Here are 22 WTF moments from the final WWE Smackdown of 2015...

22. Boos Are Piped Into The New Day's Entrance

As The New Day made it out to the ring for the show's opening match, it was as blatant as ever that the WWE had piped in boos to maintain their status as "heels", even though the crowd for the majority were quite clearly cheering for the popular trio. It's not much of a surprise that the WWE are again trying to control the crowd and tell fans what to think, but did they have to be quite so obvious about it? When you let apparent heels be funny, don't be surprised if people start to like them...
