NXT has lost something, hasn't it? The magic has gone, hasn't it? It's just not the same as it used to be!

I've got to be honest, after TakeOver: Brooklyn II I completely fell off the NXT train, so much so that I had to binge watch every single episode since the summer spectacular on Saturday before the latest WWE Network special. Having sat through several Liv Morgan matches, I'm not too sure how I'm still here and able to write this article.

The huge names that have departed what is still considered as developmental, Mojo Rawley aside, were obviously going to have an effect. And quite frankly, the majority of the names that have been tasked with filling their sizeable boots aren't up to scratch. Normally during a Takeover week everyone is talking about it, some even put it above the following WWE main roster show. This week however, all talk was about Survivor Series. Expectations were low going into TakeOver.

Of course there have been things to get excited about. The emergence of Ember Moon and specific moments in the NXT Championship rivalry have kept the clock ticking over. But at the end of the day, the odds are stacked against TakeOver Toronto but I've got no doubt it will knock our socks off like the rest have.

Here are all the WTF Moments from NXT TakeOver: Toronto...

23. "Ditched My GF2C Bobby R"

We're weird aren't we? Wrestling fans go to ridiculous lengths to attend certain events in order to simply breathe the same air as their favourite Superstar, and this unadulterated mark is certainly no exception.

Although, with reckless text speak like that being used in 2016, I'm sitting here wondering whether that GF was MU, as in made up and not real whatsoever.
