It's quite appropriate that so many WWE stars participate in the Throwback Thursday hashtag: if you were to suggest that 2016 would see Triple H the champ, Jerry Lawler still making questionably racist comments on Smackdown, Chris Jericho in the ring and another Big Show face turn, you might have been laughed off the Internet. But without some of the company's top talents sidelined through injury that's the lay of the land we all face. And there's clearly some comfort for the company in familiarity: which is why The Rock came back to help push a WrestleMania where everyone already knows what the main event is going to be. At least there's still some room for new talents though. This week saw the Smackdown debut of AJ Styles - and his supposedly banned signature move - but not the return of Daniel Bryan, the rumoured impending return of Batista and the definite crowd-pleasing return of the Rock. It's all about returns, basically. Oh, and Dolph Ziggler made it very clear on social media and WWE Ride Along that he wasn't happy at being named second worst wrestler and most over-rated star of 2015 by WhatCulture.
