Now is a time of great change in WWE and NXT. New rosters have been set, new calls up have been made and new (or old and returning) talent has been pulled in to firm up the top of the development roster. What was once red is blue and new feuds are being established.

It's all about flux and evolution. This week has seen reports that Shinsuke Nakamura is being groomed as John Cena's replacement at the top of the SmackDown brand, that AJ Styles is only killing time in the US belt picture while he waits to feud with Randy Orton and that Jim Ross' return to WWE will take in 30 to 40 appearances.

Elsewhere, Finn Balor took an almighty elbow to the head, WWE are no longer considered to be buying ROH and both SmackDown and Raw's ratings were up as an inevitable response to the Superstar Shakeup. Very much a spread of different impacts there.
