In the week that Shinsuke Nakamura was reportedly the subject of Vince McMahon's rage after his botch on John Cena, it was also confirmed that Roman Reigns remains a hugely popular figure. So good news of traditional Vinnie Mac guys then, and something of a strike against the more unconventional ones.
There was also news of Cena's planned post-SummerSlam feud with Brock Lesnar once the face that runs the place jumps over to Raw, a hint that Ronda Rousey is on her way to WWE after she started wrestling training and the suggestion of an upcoming, earth-shattering clash of the titans of Lesnar and Braun Strowman on the horizon. Get ready to have your teeth rattled right out of your head.
Meanwhile, there was a hint that we'll now see two superstar shake-ups per year, more talk of heat on Enzo Amore and the sad confirmation that creative have literally nothing to do for Dolph Ziggler. Changes are coming, and they might not all be entirely popular.
But through it all, the constant remained the superstars' fondness for sharing their sunshine shots, their new looks, their adorable pets and their hard-earned toys.
