The new year might bring about new resolutions and resolve, but some things in WWE never change. 2018 won't see an end to the talk of a Sting/Undertaker match (even with the suggestion that the former wouldn't get cleared), or to Roman Reigns' push (even if The Shield reunion might be off permanently), and other old fascinations won't die either.

CM Punk's return will continue to be a hot topic - and so will Daniel Bryan's - Shane McMahon will still be pushed into big WrestleMania spots, Chris Jericho will get another contract and Brock Lesnar might get an extension.
