New year, new selfies...

The new year might bring about new resolutions and resolve, but some things in WWE never change. 2018 won't see an end to the talk of a Sting/Undertaker match (even with the suggestion that the former wouldn't get cleared), or to Roman Reigns' push (even if The Shield reunion might be off permanently), and other old fascinations won't die either.

CM Punk's return will continue to be a hot topic - and so will Daniel Bryan's - Shane McMahon will still be pushed into big WrestleMania spots, Chris Jericho will get another contract and Brock Lesnar might get an extension. So for all the talk of newness, there's probably going to be more than a whiff of familiarity about the place in the coming 12 months. Hell, as long as they get the storylines and the matches right, who cares?

And so, 2018 is upon us, and it's time to welcome back a briefly absent friend. No not CM Punk - it's the return of the best of wrestler social media pictures. Prepare for another year of selfies, sun-worshipping and workouts.

25. Alpha At The Dome

The year is only days old and already one of the most talked about - and appreciated - matches of the year has already happened thanks to the clash of Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho under the Tokyo Dome.

Ahead of the bout, Y2J shared his moody view of the venue.
