25 Most Revealing WWE Instagram Posts Of The Week (July 9th)

Not only is Great Balls Of Fire right on the horizon, but this week also saw celebrations of both Independence Day and National Bikini Day. Naturally, it's been a particularly busy time on Instagram.

Pile on top of that three major shocks in the shape of a non-televised title change, a high-profile contract release and Dixie Carter appearance on WWE and it's quite the bumper week. Changes are afoot, though maybe don't expect that floated Finn Balor/Brock Lesnar feud to be one of them. Or a Roman Reigns heel turn, since he's been talking about that being a bad idea this week.

Elsewhere, there's been more hints at Summerslam being a WrestleMania-lite style event, a tease of Kurt Angle returning to the ring, more talk of the Hardys' Broken rights and plans for John Cena's return from hiatus. So while some things surprise, it's very much more of the same on other fronts.

Inevitably, the twin national days of celebration led to a colourful (well, red, white and blue at least) week on social media for the superstars, who paid their own tributes to independence as only they know how.
