As the calendar ticks from WrestleMania to Payback and everyone wonders just how obvious Vince McMahon's betrayal of both his children will be, it's been another big week for pro wrestling's premium brand.

Ric Flair's been making friends and headlines that it's best not to focus on too much when he's supposed to be on the card at Payback, John Cena and Seth Rollins look primed to return, and Triple H welcomed a fresh batch of newbies at Full Sail. And an old head signed on with NXT too in the shape of Eric Young.

Whether we'll see a brand split at Payback or not (they'd be dumb to spread Raw thinner over its three hours), there's also a hint we might get to see it on the Network quicker than we currently do, if they're able to work out the kinks in their current TV deals. Obviously expect to pay more for that service though: someone's got to keep Shane McMahon in shoes, after all.

As ever, all of the news played out in the background as superstars both current and former took to social media to make you feel bad about your exercise regime, diet and lack of beach holidays. This was the week in WWE Instagram...

Behold the latest NXT sign-ups. As one of the comments handily points out, the latest pool of talent goes something like this: left to right - Bianca Blair, Niko Bogojevic, Terrance Jean-Jacques, Danielle Kamela, Babatunde, Macey Estrella, Mickey Nicholls, Triple H, Nicola Glencross, Shane Veryzer, Carolyn Dunning.

If you're looking for any potential there, Bogojevic is a former Fargo Greco Roman Wrestling National Champion (and a future Wyatt?) and Babatunde (or Babatunde Aiyegbusi in full) is an enormous former Minnesota Vikings tackle. So he's probably a future champ if Vince claps eyes on him.
