Just a week out from Halloween, the WWE universe has been riddled with a terrifying, infectious epidemic usually limited to horror movies. With the latest PPV about to kick off, stars Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns were catastrophically struck down with Meningitis (as well as Bo Dollas and JoJo apparently), ripping up the event card in the process.
So instead of us seeing more of the full SHIELD reunion and a pumpkin fighting a man in drag pretending to be his own sister, we get to see a great match between Finn Balor and AJ Styles (a strong second prize) and the second coming of Kurt Angle. A rare case of a late save by WWE actually turning the hype up. Sure, it's a shame TLC won't go as originally planned, but as replacement cards go, you'll struggle to see better.
And God speed to the ill parties, hopefully, all they need is a little TLC and they'll be all better. Professional segues - that's what you're here for.
Elsewhere, there was talk of an Undertaker return to feud with Kane again, plans for a SHIELD second break-up and an Ambrose heel turn , hints of more departures and a UK-exclusive return for King Of The Ring. But why would you care about that when you can see what the superstars' tiny pet pigs have been doing or how many of them have launched head first into the Halloween season on social media?

The circumstances might not have been ideal (and it might have been better as a WrestleMania moment), but we get to see Kurt Angle wrestle in a WWE ring again. And in the short-term, there will be fewer more exciting things this year.
