It's been a very John Cena heavy period, this week. Not only might The Undertaker actually be coming back to WWE to fight him at Survivor Series - despite his apparently definite retirement (why else would he have been working out in the ring before SummerSlam?) - but The Champ's apparent shoot on Roman Reigns was widely heralded as a huge recent highlight.
There's also speculation he's set to take the Championship belt off Jinder Mahal on SmackDown once his movie schedule calms down. So it's a good time to be a Cena fan, in other words.
On top of that, Kurt Angle's been talking about wrestling again in WWE, JBL is hanging up his commentary mic (and retiring John O'Clock in the process), Batista might head into the Hall of Fame in 2018 and Dolph Ziggler might be on his way out of WWE. Who could blame him?
And through it all, the superstars took to social media to advance their brands, share their personal struggles and to pose in bikinis alongside cow's backsides in Bulgaria. Nobody said WWE wasn't a strange place, sometimes.
