205 Live continues to be a weekly highlight for WWE. This week's episode of the cruiserweight-focused show failed to disappoint across the entire night, a trait not often associated with WWE's weekly television shows.

Drew Gulak's campaign for a second crack at Cedric Alexander's Cruiserweight Championship has finally paid off, with Drake Maverick signing the SummerSlam rematch for next week's episode. Since being aligned with Gentleman Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick, Gulak has been a driving force behind the continued success of the cruiserweight division.

Ahead of his own Cruiserweight Championship opportunity in his hometown of Australia, Buddy Murphy impressed this week to the shock of no-one with a victory over Gran Metalik. The 'Juggernaut' has a big chance to make history in Melbourne, with this match against the Lucha House Party member was a stepping stone towards doing so.

It was a fantastic night all around. Nothing really terrible went down, which is always a good sign. There's still plenty to talk about though. Let's get to it...
